Manufacturer Narrative
The device was not returned for analysis.A review of the lot history record identified no manufacturing nonconformities issued to the reported lot that would have contributed to this event.Additionally, a review of the complaint history identified no similar complaints reported from this lot.All available information was investigated, and a conclusive cause for cable break could not be determined in this complaint. It is possible that excessive curves/tension on the device resulted in this issue; however, this cannot be confirmed. The reported noise and positioning failure are cascading effects of the reported cable break. There is no indication of a product issue with respect to manufacture, design, or labeling.
