Event Description
Information was received from a consumer regarding a patient receiving hydromorphone at an unknown concentration and dose via an implantable infusion pump.It was reported that "sometime in 2016" the patient had "ripped the pocket that the pump was in" and the pump hurt him because it "got up underneath the ribs and also bruised the liver." no further complications were reported.
 
Event Description
Additional information was received from the healthcare provider who reported that they have records dating back to (b)(6) 2016 and no records mention ¿ripped pocket¿ and have no notes in regards to this issue.The patient¿s weight on (b)(6) 2016 was 270lbs.
