Event Description
It was reported that stent fracture occurred requiring additional intervention.The 95% stenosed, de novo target lesion was located in the non-tortuous and moderately calcified left anterior descending artery.The lesion was predilated with a 2x10mm nc balloon catheter and a 2.50x48mm synergy ii drug-eluting stent was deployed for treatment.However, in the proximal part of the stent, a fracture was noted.Another 3.0 x 16 synergy was implanted to cover the fractured stent.There were no patient complications nor injuries reported and the patient status was stable.
