Event Description
It was reported that two cardiac resynchronization therapy pacemakers (crt-p) reverted to safety mode unexpectedly.Technical services (ts) discussed potential causes and explained the recommended protocol is for the devices to be replaced due to limited therapy available in safety mode, and returned for analysis. It was noted that very little was known about these two cases because the information was second hand via a clinician in a members-only chat group, and the field representative has no further information. The device status remains unknown. No adverse patient effects were reported.
