Testing of actual/suspected device: a getinge field service engineer (fse) was dispatched to investigate. The fse evaluated the iabp unit and observed that the iabp unit would start power cycling when plugged into wall power or when the batteries were installed. The fse troubleshot and narrowed down the issue to the power management board. The fse replaced the power management board (p/n: 0670-00-1162).Additionally, the fse observed the reported printer issue and replaced the printer.Additionally, the touchscreen repeatedly failed to calibrate. These issues are unrelated to the reported issue and separate mdrs are being submitted for each. The fse ordered parts for the touchscreen and returned at a later date to complete repairs.Subsequently, the fse completed all safety, functionality, and calibration checks and all tests passed to factory specifications. The iabp unit was cleared for clinical use and released to the customer.A supplemental report will be submitted upon completion of our investigation. The initial reporter named is a getinge employee who has different contact details from that of the event site.A contact person at the event site is (b)(6).
