Event or Problem Description
Complainant alleged that during a routine shift check by a clinician, the device displayed a "short detected" message.Complainant indicated that there was no patient involvement in the reported malfunction.

The device was returned to zoll medical corporation and the customer's report was not replicated or confirmed.The device was put through extensive testing without duplicating the report.The device was recertified and returned to the customer.The logs were reviewed, however the logs were cleared prior to receiving this device and could add no value to our investigation.No trend is associated with reports of this type.
