Event Description
Medtronic received information regarding a navigation device being used for a sacroiliac and thoracolumbar procedure.It was reported that the tip of the driver was stuck in the left s1 screw and a fragment of the impact/instrument remained in the patient.The second navigated driver sheared off as well.No fragments left in the patient.No impact on patient outcome.There was a delay less than 1 hour.
