Event or Problem Description
A ventilator was returned to the manufacturer for service.The device was not in patient use.During the evaluation of the device at the manufacturer's service center, a "service required" code was found in the ventilator's downloaded error log.The device's system board was replaced to address the issue.

This mdr is being submitted as part of a batch submission of previously closed complaints that were reassessed as reportable foam degradation complaints; discovered as part of a retrospective remediation review.The manufacturer previously reported a ventilator was returned to the manufacturer for service.The device was not in patient use.During the evaluation of the device at the manufacturer's service center, a "service required" code was found in the ventilator's downloaded error log.The device's system board was replaced to address the issue.During the evaluation, the pollen filter, inlet air path assembly and removable air path foam were replaced as per field communication.
