Zoll medical corporation has received the product and will be providing a supplemental report when our investigation is completed.
Event or Problem Description
Complainant alleged that during functional testing, the device inappropriately shut down and would intermittently not power up.Complainant indicated that there was no patient involvement in the reported malfunction.

The device was returned to zoll medical corporation.The customer's report was duplicated and the monitor board was replaced to remedy the report.The device was recertified and returned to the customer.Analysis of reports of this type has not identified an increase in trend.
