It was reported through an anonymous post-market survey of percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (pta) catheters that out of 50 total treatments, 1 was unsuccessful in renal, 1 was unsuccessful in popliteal, 5 were unsuccessful in tibial and 2 were unsuccessful in peroneal arteries and there were 7 occurrences of flow-limiting dissection which required intervention and 2 occurrences of distal embolization which required intervention.The current status of the patient(s) was not provided.
