Event or Problem Description
The patient was initially implanted with a bifurcated stent graft and a suprarenal aortic extension to treat an abdominal aortic aneurysm (aaa).Approximately three (3) years post initial procedure, the patient presented at the hospital with abdominal pain.Aneurysm enlargement was identified and an indeterminate origin endoleak was confirmed. The physician elected to treat the patient by placing non-endologix stent grafts to successfully resolve this event. It was reported that during the intervention procedure the type of endoleak was unable to be determined. The procedure was completed without endoleaks.
