Siemens has completed an investigation of the reported event.Assessment does not indicate a system failure or malfunction and no non-conformity was identified. The investigation was performed considering complaint description, cs reports, system history, and system log files.According to the customer, at the beginning of a procedure and after pressing the footswitch to release x-ray, it took 3 to 5 seconds until the image was displayed on the monitor.Once the image was displayed, the procedure could continue normally, without further delay. The service team performed several tests on the system (e.G.Function test of the footswitch) onsite, but could not reproduce the failure. The reported error coud not be confirmed and the system works as specified. As a preventive measure, the system generator was calibrated. After detailed investigation, the incident is not classified as a reportable event as neither serious injury, death nor an unexpected, prolonged hospitalization of the patient or any other person occurred or could be expected.
