It was reported that stent damage occurred.Vascular access was obtained via the right artery. The 92% stenosed, 16x5mm, de novo, eccentric target lesion with a significant bend of >=90 degrees was located in the severely tortuous and severely calcified right coronary artery.A 4.00 x 20mm synergy ii drug-eluting stent was advanced but failed to cross the lesion. The device was removed and it was found that the tip of the stent itself was deformed. The physician decided to complete the procedure by plain old balloon angioplasty (nc emerge 4.5/15).There were no patient complications reported and the patient status was stable.
