Event or Problem Description
It was reported during the incoming inspection at zb warehouse in (b)(4), a team member found a scratch on the sterile package.Attempts have been made and additional information on the reported event is unavailable at this time.
Additional Manufacturer Narrative
This follow-up report is being submitted to relay additional information.Visual evaluation of the returned product identified that there is a scratch/crease on the sterile packaging pouch.Sterility has not been compromised.Dhr (device history record) was reviewed and no discrepancies were found.The product was likely conforming when it left zimmer biomet control, however a definitive root cause is unable to be determined.If any further information is found which would change or alter any conclusions or information, a supplemental will be filed accordingly.Zimmer biomet will continue to monitor for trends.
