Event or Problem Description
It was reported that balloon rupture occurred.The 100% stenosed target lesion was located in the moderately tortuous and severely calcified superficial femoral artery.A 8.0 x 40, 135cm mustang balloon catheter was advanced for dilatation.However, during the initial inflation at 10 atmospheres, the balloon ruptured.The device was removed and a pinhole was noted.The procedure was completed with another of same device.No patient complications were reported and the patient was in good condition after the procedure.
