Complainant alleged that while attempting to pace a patient (age & gender unknown), the device was unable to pace.Complainant indicated that there was no adverse effect to the patient due to the reported malfunction.

The device and multifunction cable were returned to zoll medical corporation.The customer's report was verified and attributed to the returned multifunction cable.The multifunction cable was replaced to remedy the report.The device was recertified and returned to the customer.Analysis of reports of this type has not identified an increase in trend.
