Information was received from a patient with an implantable neurostimulator (ins) for the treatment of gastrointestinal/pelvic floor. It was reported that the patient had an unrelated surgery where the ins was turned off.The hcp turned it back on afterwards but the patient thought it was off because they did not feel the tingling. They stated they usually felt a ¿kicking¿ when they ate/drank water but they did not feel it the previous night. They were redirected to their hcp to check the device. No patient complications were reported as a result of this event.Additional information was received from the patient. They reported that it was normal for them to feel a sensation in their left rib as if a baby was kicking them. They reported that if the stimulation level was too low, it would not be effective for them, so no matter how the doctor adjusted it, they would get the kicking sensation. They were redirected to follow up with their healthcare provider.
