Event Description
It was reported that during a routine device change out, the left ventricular (lv) lead was very difficult to remove from the header and appeared to be stuck.The physician managed to free the lead after applying forward pressure on lead into header and then gentle pressure on pulling.The device replaced as planned and the lv lead remains in use.No patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
