Event Description
|
Information was received from multiple sources (manufacturer representative, healthcare provider) regarding a patient who was receiving gablofen (2000 mcg/ml at 850 mcg/day) and unknown drug via an implantable pump for intractable spasticity.It was reported that the hcp would like to program the pump to off state.It was noted that no emi (electromagnetic interference) or magnetic interaction with the pump i.E.Mri.The rep stated that the patient has had multiple motor stalls and recoveries.No symptoms/patient complications were reported.

Additional information received from a company representative (rep) reported the managing physician and rep terminated the pump.The pump was due to be replaced; however, it has not been replaced at this time and the patient was on oral baclofen at home.
