Event or Problem Description
|
|
It was reported that there was a lead integrity alert (lia) on the right ventricular (rv) lead triggered by high rate non-sustained episodes and pacing impedance variation. It was further reported that review of a remote transmission showed complete loss of ventricular capture on current electrograms (egm), however the patient was programmed for left ventricular (lv) lead pacing only.Right atrial (ra) lead oversensing was also noted on current egms.Less than one month later, the patient experienced bradycardia related to additional rv lead oversensing. The rv lead was then capped and remains implanted after the patient was downgraded to a pacemaker system. No further patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
