Patient reported being they had an "horrific experience" following being injected in the lips with an unspecified juvéderm® product.Approximately two days post injections, patient experienced ¿whole lip, above the lip was swollen, black and blue, nose was bruised, pustules above lip, on lip and nose, inside lip had split open." five days post injections the patient reached out to their injector, but they were unable to see the patient until 4 days later.The patient didn¿t want to wait and saw another hcp who treated the patient with prescribed antibiotics and antiviral.The treating hcp suggested the injector could've hit a nerve.Patient noted the event "looks better, swollen still and numb." events are ongoing.
