Testing of actual/suspected device: a getinge field service engineer (fse) was dispatched to evaluate this unit. The fse found that there were multiple errors in the event logs pointing to a potential issue with the executive processor board (tec#111, 112, 118).In addition, the fse also noticed that the front fan would stop turning if you move the connector attached to the printer interface board, potentially contributing to the issue. The fse replaced both the executive processor board and the printer interface boards. The fse loaded the software, completed a full calibration, and completed a full system test (functionality and safety checks) to factory specifications. All tests passed to factory specifications. The unit was returned to the customer and released for clinical use.A supplemental report will be submitted upon completion of our investigation.
