Healthcare professional reported injecting a patient in the nasal bridge with 0.1 ml of juvéderm® volbella¿ xc.Three days later, the patient had a ¿breakout¿ around the nose to the forehead.The patient returned to the office 10-12 days post-injection where ¿pustules that were red, inflamed, broken, crusted, and painful to touch¿ were noted.The patient was treated with 3 vials of hylenex, steroids, keflex, valtrex, and bactroban.The healthcare professional is unsure if the event is an ¿infection or vascular occlusion.¿ the event is resolved.
