Additional Manufacturer Narrative

The reported complaint was confirmed.During laboratory analysis, the product surveillance technician (pst) started the centrifugal pump up and a 'stopped: overspeed' message appeared. When the pst opened the pump up, liquid dribbled out.The pst observed that the magnets and screws were thoroughly rusted and there were exposed wires and contacts. It was determined that the centrifugal motor did not meet specification. If additional information becomes available on this complaint that would alter the facts and/or conclusion, a supplemental report will be filed accordingly.
