Event Description
Medtronic conducted a post market clinical follow-up (pmcf) survey to seek out potential new risks and assess performance of the eupora, solarice, nc euphora, nc solarice and sprinter legend poba balloon catheters and everest inflation device & accessories.Survey results from an interventional radiologist in practice 14 years.In the past two months the physician has used nc euphora, euphora, sprinter legend and everest devices.The physician uses approximately 25 everest devices, 25 nc euphora devices, 20 euphora devices and 25 sprinter legend devices in an average month.During a procedure two nc euphora devices and two everest devices were used for pre-dilation and post-dilation of a stent in a totally occluded native coronary artery.It was reported that deflation difficulties was experienced in vivo with one of the nc euphora devices.No intervention was required.It was also reported that connection difficulties and a difficult trigger was experienced during preparation of one of the everest devices.No patient injury reported.
