Event Description
|
Information was received from a patient who was implanted with an implantable neurostimulator (ins) for unknown indications for use.It was reported that they just started physical therapy and while laying on their back, the stimulation was giving them a lot of shocking sensation, like the stimulation was strong.Pt said they were fine while just doing breathing exercises on their back previously, but just started physical therapy last wednesday and noticed the strong stimulation last night. The patient was redirected to their healthcare provider (hcp) to further address the issue.Patient services specialist (pss) reviewed pt could monitor stimulation and try turning down stim while laying down to see if that would help, and follow up with hcp/rep to check settings if needed.
