Event Description
It was reported that the bd ultra-fine¿ insulin syringe scale marking faded.The following information was provided by the initial reporter translated from (b)(6) to english: "according to the customer's report, there was a syringe on which the printed scale was faded.".

The following fields were updated due to additional information: d.9.Device available for eval?: yes.D.9.Returned to manufacturer on: 25-may-2022.H.6.Investigation: customer returned (1) 1/2cc, 8mm, 30g syringe in an open poly bag from lot # 1109961.Customer states that there was a syringe on which the printed scale was faded.The returned syringe was examined and no scale markings were printed on the barrel.A review of the device history record was completed for batch# 1109961.All inspections and challenges were performed per the applicable operations qc specifications.There were zero (0) notifications noted that pertained to the complaint.A definitive root cause cannot be determined.
