Event or Problem Description
It was reported that balloon rupture occurred.The 100% stenosed target lesion was located in the moderately tortuous and moderately calcified superficial femoral artery.A 5.0 x 20, 135cm mustang balloon catheter was advanced for dilation.However, during first inflation at 8 atmospheres for 5 seconds, the balloon ruptured.The device was removed and completed the procedure with another of the same device.There were no patient complications reported and the patient condition was good post procedure.
