Event or Problem Description
It was reported that the clamp on a vented paclitaxel set failed to prevent fluid/drops from falling from the fluid container when fully engaged.The issue was identified during priming.There was no patient involvement.No additional information is available.

H10: the device was received for evaluation.Visual inspection using the naked eye did not identify any abnormalities that could have contributed to the reported condition.All components were correctly placed and according to specifications.Functional testing was performed including clear passage and pressure testing; and the results were satisfactory.Additional testing was performed including priming the set with a bag of sterile water and by closing the slide clamp in 10 seconds and no defects were observed.The reported condition was not verified.A batch review was conducted and there were no deviations found related to this reported condition during the manufacture of this lot.Should additional relevant information become available, a supplemental report will be submitted.
