Event or Problem Description
It was reported that balloon rupture occurred.The 100% stenosed target lesion was located in the moderately tortuous and severely calcified left superficial femoral artery.A 5.0mmx150mmx150cm (4f) sterling balloon catheter was advanced for dilatation.However, during the first inflation at 6 atmospheres, the balloon ruptured.The device was removed and the procedure was completed with a different device.No patient complications were reported and the patient was in good condition after the procedure.
