Event or Problem Description
Complainant alleged that during a routine shift check by a clinician, the devicef failed self-test for pacer function.Complainant indicated that there was no patient involvement in the reported malfunction.

The complainant was contacted for return of the device via email.The complainant replied stating that there was a power cycle issue traced to a battery issue, instead of pacer failure as reported initially.However, the device has not been returned to zoll for evaluation.
