Information was received from a healthcare provider regarding a patient who was implanted with an implantable neurostimulator (ins) for gastric stimulation and gastrointestinal/ pelvic floor.It was reported that the patient presented with a battery erosion/infected pocket.They clipped the leads and removed the battery.Portion of the leads left behind in the patient.The issue was resolved.
