Event Description
|
It was reported that during an implant procedure while approaching the antero lateral vein the catheter was advanced and an attempt to place the left ventricular (lv) lead was made.The lv lead would not advance from the distal end of the catheter.A contrast study was performed and a dissection was observed at the tip of the catheter.The lv lead implant attempt was abandoned and the lead was removed from the patient.No further patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
