|
Information was received from a healthcare provider (hcp) via a company representative regarding a patient receiving baclofen (2000 mcg/ml at 368 mcg/day) via an implanted pump.The indication for pump use was cerebral palsy and intractable spasticity.It was reported that the pump logs showed a safe state alarm occurred.The hcp was able to successfully reprogram the pump.There was no emi (electromagnetic interaction) or other environmental interactions at the time of the pump alarm.

Additional information received reported that the patient did not experience any symptoms, jut pump alarming.The cause of the safe state alarm was unknown.The additional actions/interventions taken to resolve the issue was the pump was reprogrammed successfully and would be replacing soon.
