This follow-up report is being submitted to relay additional information.The following sections were updated: b4, b5, d4, g3, g6, h2, h3, h4, h6, h10 visual examination of the returned product identified scratches, nicks, burrs, faded etching and product can be disassembled.The etching on the product is fading but is still legible when viewing in the right angle and light.The product can be assembled and disassembled with ease.The snap feature has burrs and nicks throughout the area and the component parts are loose.Review of the device history record(s) identified no deviations or anomalies during manufacturing related to the reported event.A definitive root cause cannot be determined.Upon reassessment of the reported event, it was determined to be not reportable.The initial report was forwarded in error and should be voided.If any further information is found which would change or alter any conclusions or information, a supplemental will be filed accordingly.Zimmer biomet will continue to monitor for trends.
