|
It was reported that the patient experienced worsening heart failure and was hospitalized.Oral diuretics were administered.The patient had appearance of edemas in the lower limbs and a reduction in mobility.The patient had right-sided cardiac decompensation with significant anasarca.Ultrasound showed left subclavian stenosis on valve sclerosis in relation to the lead.The heart sounds were regular with a systolic failure murmur at the tricuspid focus.The leads are still in use.The patient is a participant in a clinical study.No further patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.

Event Description
|
Additional information received noted the tight stenosis of the left subclavian vein was due to the passing of the lead on valvular sclerosis.It was noted to also be related to the patient¿s vascular terrain.The edema was linked jointly to the stenosis, to the context of amyloidosis and hydro-sodic overload.
