Event Description
According to the reporter, during the procedure, on the 3rd and 4th sample collection, upon removing the forceps from the extended working channel (ewc), the team noticed some semi-translucent, hair like fibers with the sample.Successfully completed the procedure using the new kit with no further difficulties.The physician was able to complete the electromagnetic navigational bronchoscopy (enb) portion of the case.There was no patient injury.
