Event Description
Information was received from a friend/family member regarding a patient who was implanted with an implantable neurostimulator (ins). The reason for call was when pt sleeps at night on their back, they feel a hot spot where the ins is.Pt turns the stimulation off to see if that will help but then the stimulation turns itself back on.Caller said the pt uses the screen to go in and turn stimulation on instead of the white on/off button.Pss reviewed to try using the on/off button to turn stimulation off to see if that resolves the issue. If that does not resolve the issue, pss reviewed to follow up with healthcare provider (hcp) and rep for further assistance.
