Event Description
|
It was reported that that since undergoing a magnetic resonance imaging (mri) procedure, the patient's device has experienced several, separate magnet tone alerts, with the patient indicating that no magnet was present.The health care provider (hcp) expressed concern that the device was damaged during the mri procedure, even though the device had been programmed to the correct mri mode.The implantable cardioverter defibrillator (icd) remains in use.No patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
