|
It was reported that the ins could not be interrogated after reanimation and defibrillation of the patient.The product remained implanted and out of service and would be replaced in the future, but the issue was not resolved at the time of the event.

Event Description

Additional information was received from a manufacturer representative (rep) reporting that the patient is in a critical physical situation.They have an anticoagulation because of a 3 stage thrombosis (sinus transversus, v.Jugularis, v.Cava), therefore, no surgery or anything else can be done until the patient has stabilized.The issue is resolved at the moment.It is unknown what further actions will be taken at a later date.
