Event or Problem Description
Complainant alleged that during biomed testing, the device displayed an "ecg disabled" message.Complainant indicated that there was no patient involvement in the reported malfunction.

The device was returned to zoll medical corporation for evaluation.The customer's report was observed during initial testing.The device was put through extensive testing without duplicating the report.An internal inspection of device found no discrepancies.The analog board was replaced as pre-caution.The device was recertified and returned to the customer.Analysis of reports of this type has not identified an increase in trend.
