|
The patient's attorney alleged a deficiency against the device.The product was used for therapeutic treatment of a ventral hernia.It was reported that after implant, the patient experienced suffering, diminished quality of life, mental anguish, defective device, mesh failure, disability, loss of enjoyment of life, pain, emotional distress, mental pain, infection, fistula, abscess, inflammation, discomfort, and impairment.Post-operative patient treatment included revision surgery, and removal of mesh.

The patient's attorney alleged a deficiency against the device.The product was used for therapeutic treatment of an incisional hernia.It was reported that after implant, the patient experienced two abdominal sinus abscess tract, sinus tract involved the underlaying suture and some mesh, suture granulomas, suffering, diminished quality of life, mental anguish, defective device, mesh failure, disability, loss of enjoyment of life, pain, emotional distress, mental pain, infection, fistula, abscess, inflammation, discomfort, impairment, fibrosis, brown drainage, scarring, abdominal wound, hypergranulation tissue, foreign body granuloma.Post-operative patient treatment included revision surgery, removal of mesh, exploration/excision of two abdominal sinus abscess tracts, scar contracture excised, partial removal of ethibond suture, incision and drainage of postoperative infection.
