Event Description
|
Information was received from the healthcare provider via a clinical study regarding a patient receiving hydromorphone via an implantable infusion pump.It was reported that the patient was hospitalized due to withdrawal symptoms: uncontrolled vomiting, diarrhea, confusion, drowsiness and seizure.Additional information indicated that the patient's medicatipn was decreased and that the device was explanted due to the complications.

Additional information received from the healthcare provider via a clinical study indicated that the hydromorphone was decreased due to the patient's complaint of drowsiness and the pump being turned down to minimum rate.
