Additional Manufacturer Narrative
Directlink module was not returned for evaluation and lot number information has not been provided; therefore, an evaluation of the device could not be performed, and manufacturing records could not be reviewed. The cause(s) of the difficulty reported by the customer could not be determined. If additional relevant information becomes available in the future, this complaint will be reopened, and the respective evaluation performed.Trends will be monitored for this and similar issues. At present, we consider this complaint to be closed.Based on the information reported by customer, the issue did not seem to be linked to the modules themselves. That's why the clinic decided to continue to use directlink modules, cables and it confirmed that the error had not occurred again. However, the possible root cause of the issue reported by customer could probably be due to damaging sensor.Additional information received: - all the device were implanted into 1 patient.- reference of phillips patient's monitor: mindray beneview variante t8 - consequences due to dysfunction : "this is self-explanatory.If the patient cannot be monitored or his intracranial pressure cannot be monitored, then he cannot be optimally cared for either, since valid measurement data on the constitution are missing." - underlying medical surgery : patient with a traumatic brain injury - outcome of patient : no feedback from the doctors.
