Doctor reported that implant with mount at tooth site 44 slid from driver tool and fell on non-sterile ground while performing surgery for fix implant bridge in lower jaw.Procedure was completed using another implant.Patient with osteoporosis.Procedure was performed in frame of the education grant program.

Zimmer biomet complaint number (b)(4).Since the lot number and device will not be returned , identifying a definitive root cause will not be possible.Should additional information be received which indicated that the device may have caused or contributed to the event, an additional report would be submitted.
