Event Description
It was reported that when the patient was fishing the other day there was a lightning strike in the neighborhood and their rod was electrified and ripped apart.The remaining battery level of the communicator.When trying to connect to the ins the screen didn't show connection.It was said the device may not have been properly configured as the communicator displayed "no device response," even though the communicator was placed directly over the ins.The patient would have a consultation on (b)(6) 2022, but the issue was not resolved at the time of the event.

Event Description
Additional information was received: it was reported that the event was resolved without local support, and since the problem did not recur afterwards, it does not seem to be a problem with the communicator.The issue seemed to be with the ins.No actions were taken after (b)(6) 2022.The patient telephoned again after the initial call, and the event was resolved.
