|
Information was received from a company representative (rep) regarding a patient receiving baclofen 500 mcg/ml at 68 mcg/day for intractable spasticity.It was reported that the patient had a possible infection over the pump site.The site began to appear swollen and had a rash over it a couple days ago.Technical services reviewed catheter revision kits for a possible catheter revision.

Event Description
|
Additional information was received that it was found that the patient did not have an infection.When they got to the pump, no infection was found.The patient's weight was asked but unknown.On 2022-12-16 additional information was received that surgery was performed to look for the infection and no infection was found.The cause of the rash was not determined.The event was resolved.
