Event or Problem Description
It was reported that balloon rupture occurred.The 75% stenosed target lesion was located in a moderately tortuous and severely calcified vessel of superficial femoral artery.A 5.0 x 100, 135cm mustang balloon catheter was advanced for dilation.However, during the first inflation at 20 atmospheres for 30 seconds, the balloon ruptured.The device was removed, and the procedure was completed with a different device.There were no patient complications nor injuries reported and the patient was stable after the procedure.
