Event or Problem Description
It was reported that balloon rupture occurred.The patient presented with peripheral artery disease.The 99% stenosed target lesion was located in the severely calcified superficial femoral artery.A 2.5mm x 20mm x 144cm coyote es balloon catheter was advanced for dilatation.However, during first inflation at 6 atmospheres for 3 seconds, the balloon ruptured.The device was removed, and the procedure was completed with another of the same device.No patient complications were reported and the patient condition was good.
