Event Description
|
Additional information received from the consumer reported within the past year the patient developed a spot on their head about where the wires would have been inserted which caused their surgeon great concern.Thepatient then developed lesions at the stimulator site resulting in them being able to see the stimulator through a hole in the patient¿s chest making it evident the whole system would have to come out.The consumer mentioned the only reason they could think of for the development of the lesions was the patient¿s age of 83 contributed to their skin becoming ¿paper thin¿ as the settings hadn¿t been changed in quite some time.
